Local Beaches – Watergate Bay, Bedruthan Steps, Fistral, Crantock, Porthcothan, Treyarnon, Constantine, Harlyn and Trevone. Across the Camel Estuary lies Daymer Bay and Polzeath.
Local Towns – Padstow, Wadebridge and Newquay. A little further south are the pretty coastal towns of St Agnes, St Ives and Falmouth. A short drive to the north is Port Isaac, where Doc Martin is filmed. The small city of Truro is 35 minutes by car.
Local Attractions – the National Trust’s Bedruthan Steps coastal beauty spot is a short walk away. Other attractions within a short drive are the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Camel Creek Adventure Park, Newquay Zoo and Lanhydrock House.
